The Maul Magazine, a new speculative and horror magazine, is opening its first-ever submission window beginning July 1 for Issue Zero! The window will be open for one month. Payment is 8 cents per word for original pieces, 2 cents per word for reprints, and $100 flat fee for original art and comics. Because we are brand new and are still fundraising, we will be prioritizing reprints. We are seeking horror and speculative short stories up to 3,000 words, art (including black and white prints), and comics (three-panel horror). For more details, please read our submission guidelines
